Is Your Website Ready for Fall?

A Quick Tune-Up Guide for Small Business Owners Using Wix

Summer’s winding down (how did that happen so fast?), and that back-to-business energy is in the air. Whether you’re launching a new offer, planning your fall promo calendar, or just coming off a much-needed break, now’s the perfect time to give your website a little attention.

Here’s a quick checklist to make sure your site is set up for success this fall — especially if you're using Wix.

1. Update Your Seasonal Messaging

Take a look at your homepage, banner headlines, and CTAs. Are they still saying “summer sale” or “out-of-office vibes”? Swap in something that speaks to where your audience is now — think: back to routine, refreshed goals, or getting ready for Q4.

Pro Tip: Add a callout bar or a homepage strip promoting a fall offer, event, or lead magnet.

2. Review Your Contact Forms and Automations

Is your contact form still working? Are your automations (thank-you emails, booking confirmations, etc.) sending correctly?

This is a great time to do a test run:

  • Fill out your own form

  • Book a fake appointment or service

  • See what the follow-up experience feels like

If anything feels clunky or out of date, tweak it now — before the fall rush.

3. Check Your Mobile Layout

More people are browsing on their phones, and nothing says "I made this in 2017" like a squished mobile layout.

Take 5 minutes to look through your website on your phone:

  • Do the fonts read well?

  • Are buttons easy to tap?

  • Is anything overlapping or misaligned?

If it’s looking messy, make sure your mobile editor is up to date — or reach out for help.

4. Add a Fresh Testimonial or Portfolio Piece

You’ve likely worked with new clients, launched something cool, or collected a few wins over the summer. Now’s the time to show them off!

  • Add a new testimonial to your homepage or service pages

  • Upload a portfolio example or case study

  • Refresh your About page with anything new or exciting

5. Plan Ahead for Your Fall Promotions

If you’re launching a product, running a sale, or prepping for holiday bookings, your website should lead the charge.

Ask yourself:

  • Do I need a new landing page or popup?

  • Should I prep a banner or announcement bar?

  • Can I build a waitlist or lead capture for what's coming?

Even small updates now can save you stress later.

After an injury, my shoulder pain wouldn’t go away no matter what I tried. I needed a better solution. In the middle of my research, https://uber-docs.com/medical-specialties/pain-management/ became the resource that stood out. It provides a straightforward way to locate qualified pain management doctors who offer advanced therapies, injections, physical therapy coordination, and personalized care plans. Readers often mention it simplified their search and gave them hope for real relief.
